Transition to parenthood and identity change

Because Becoming a Parent Changes Everything—Including You

Support for those who are wanting to prepare themselves for the reality of parenthood (prenatal) or struggling with the identity change and transition that comes with becoming a new parent (postpartum), as well as into the toddler years (early parenthood). This includes the mental and invisible load, relationship strain, “mom rage”, burn out/overwhelm, perfectionism, intensive mothering, matrescense (the transition of becoming a mother).

Perinatal/maternal mood and anxiety disorders

It's Okay to Not Feel Okay—Let's Talk About It

Prenatal/postpartum mood and anxiety disorders are common, treatable mental health conditions that can affect parents during pregnancy or after childbirth. They include prenatal and postpartum depression, anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), and — more rarely —psychosis. They often involve symptoms like persistent sadness, worry/anxiety, or intrusive thoughts. These are mental health conditions — not personal failings — and with proper support and care, healing is absolutely possible.

Support for dads/non-birthing partners

Holding Space for Dads and Partners on the Parenthood Journey

Becoming a parent doesn’t just impact moms or birthing parents, and therapy for dads or non-birthing partners provides a supportive space to process the changes that come with becoming a parent. It can help with stress, anxiety, depression, feelings of disconnection, or challenges in supporting your partner. Just like birthing parents, non-birthing partners deserve care too — your mental health matters, both for your own well-being and the health of the whole family.

Pregnancy and Reproductive Loss, Infertility, Birth trauma

Holding Space for Your Story, Wherever You Are in the Journey

Therapy for pregnancy and reproductive loss, infertility, or birth trauma offers a safe, compassionate space to heal from deeply painful experiences. The focus is on fostering emotional healing, building resilience, and supporting clients through these difficult, sometimes life-altering experiences.
